New GM events approval for environmental release

Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) in Japan granted approvals for commercial use of two GM events and for confined field trials for three GM events on May 11th.
Commercial use:
- Coleopteran resistance and glyphosate tolerance corn DP23211
- Modified fatty acids and Imazamox herbicide tolerance canola LBFLFK
Confined field trial:
- White flower Oncidium MF-1
- Glyphosate, glufosinate and dicamba tolerance sugar beet KWS20-1
- Semi-dwarf corn MON94804
We will continue to support our customers on obtaining approvals in Japan including confined field trials to expand their business opportunities in Japan.
